Relax and Recharge in Hawaii
laxly Sorry…I couldn’t stop myself from saying Aloha. The reason, my wife and I, along with our good friends, just returned home from a wonderful two-week vacation in Hawaii. This was our second trip to Hawaii and this time we visited the Islands Maui, Oahu, and Kauai.
St. Albert If you haven’t been to Hawaii, it is so beautiful and it emits such a wonderfully invigorating energy. The refreshing island breeze shares a sweet tropical smell that you wish you could bottle and bring home with you. Even sweeter are the juicy fresh island-grown fruits that can be easily purchased from roadside vendors. And the spectacular Hawaiian sunsets, which seem to linger on forever, must be the islands’ way of celebrating another beautiful day in paradise (and we would have to whole-heartily agree with that statement.)
What a special place to go to unwind, recharge, and detach from the pace of everyday life. Ahhh.

Here’s a photo of Carrie and me at the Old Lahaina Luau on the Island of Maui.
If you are a long-time reader of my newsletter, you already know that our iOS devices play a big role in our travels. From preparing for and managing our vacation (i.e. vacation research, travel documents and logistics), passing time on the long flight, to recording and sharing lifelong memories, our iOS devices serve us well.
To that point, I have previously shared the following travel articles with my readers — Essential iPad Travel Tips (three-part series) and Rental Car Bluetooth Dangers – What You Should Know.
Last year, I wrote a two-part series “10 Ways I Used My iOS Devices While On Vacation”. You can read that series here:

I’d like to end this post with a few more photos of our wonderful trip back to beautiful Hawaii (taken from Carrie’s iPhone 7 Plus). Enjoy! 🙂

A Hui Hou Kākou (Until We Meet Again),
Dave
