How to View Emails with Attachments Only in Mail
Did you know there is an inbox sorting option available to Mail app users on both iPad or iPhone?
This handy option allows for quickly viewing only emails that have an included attachment (attached file like a PDF or Word doc.)
This offers an easy way of finding specific types of emails with attachments of any kind, without having to use the Search function or browsing through the regular inboxes, and should be helpful to many iPad and iPhone users.
But before you can access and view only emails with attachments, you’ll need to enable the optional sorting mailbox in Mail app on the iPhone or iPad first.
Let’s take a look at how you do this…shall we…
Setting up the Mail app to View Emails with Attachments Only in Mail
- Open the Mail app on your iPad or iPhone as usual, this should open to the regular Mailboxes view. If not, simply click the “< Mailboxes” back button in the upper-left corner.
- Tap on Edit located at the top of the left Mailboxes sidebar.
- Next, scroll down to find and tap on Attachments so that a blue check mark appears next to it, then tap on Done. (Note: You’ll see other sort options that can be activated, feel free to select any additional options.)
- Back in the Mailboxes screen, tap on Attachments to view only emails that have included attachments.
There you go. I hope you learned something new today. If you did, pat yourself on the back, say “Yippee”, and go show off to your family and friends. You deserve it!
