🙋🏽♀️ QUESTION: Hey Dave, “Is it possible to invest in Bitcoin and Crypto in my IRA?” 

Yes, you can. There are several ways to diversify your investments and gain crypto exposure in your IRA. Plus, all crypto IRA transactions are tax-free. (Typically, outside an IRA, all crypto transactions are either taxed as income or capital gains.)

The three major ways to gain exposure to bitcoin and crypto in your IRA:

1.) Invest in businesses that are directly or indirectly involved with the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. (ex: Coinbase, Microstrategy, Canaan and Hut 8 Mining, Block, Nvidia Corp., Marathon Digital Holdings Inc.)

2.) Invest in a bitcoin or crypto ETF (ex: Grayscale, BITO, Valkyrie, VanEck)

Currently, there are only Crypto ETF futures contracts. Crypto Spot ETFs have not been approved by the SEC at the time I am writing this post.

3.) Invest in actual Crypto with a Crypto IRA (you buy and sell actual crypto tax-free in your IRA account). Here are a few options:
