Hawthorne Backlinks Now Available in Evernote

As many of you have noticed, the highly anticipated Backlinks feature has been activated for Evernote Personal, Professional, and Teams users.

Now you can instantly see and navigate to any note that links to the one you’re currently viewing, so you can work across notes with ease. No more jumping through hoops searching for related info you’ve captured.

Backlinks make it easier to follow linked note relationships in either direction.

How does it work?

Well, it just works. You do not have any effort on your part to get Backlinks to start showing up in your account.

For example, Note A is linked in Note B. From Note A, the user will see a list of all notes where they’ve linked the note they are in currently and they can go to any of those notes by clicking on the note name in the Backlinks menu. (see graphic below)

There are many use cases for Backlinks, and Backlinks can be very handy in situations where you have created a table of contents. This makes it much easier to get back to the main note without having to go searching for it. <– Love this!
